Never shout at your partner in front of others!

“Partners are like ‘part’ of you with a separate existence”

-randomwriter

Weather you are a boy or girl, remember the days when u were single and looking for a perfect partner (girlfriend/ boyfriend/ spouse), you just wanted to do anything to get one.

Remember when you met your perfect one for the first time? You were ready to do anything, never calculating time, money or distance. You just wanted him or her to be in your life, whatever it may take. In those days all romantic lines from movies, songs and poetry were true, you were ready to get moon and stars for them.

But then, once you got your partner, as the time goes by, they become part of your life, someone who is always around and you start working for other targets in life like money, house, friends, job, etc etc.

In this race for achieving things, you forget all that you did and you dreamed with and for your partner. This happens with almost all but, it is important for us to remember past when we progress in life.

Your partner is your life, do not ever insult, shout, fight or show them low/ unimportant in front of others like your friends, family, colleagues or anyone else. These new people are in your life for a moment, for a reason and they will be gone once the things are done. Also, you might find them attractive and interesting just because they are new to your life but remember, even they will go old, even their stories will end and even they will become repetitive in your life. But, they will never love, care and look after you and your life like your partner. They will never hold your hand in any difficulty. They will not be with you when you are unwell, poor, jobless or useless.

But, your partner will always be with you in your good and bad. Always cherish the memories when you met and if ever you feel something else is more important- just remember what all you did and dreamt to get this partner.

He/ She is your life. Make them feel great, make them feel special, make them feel loved and make them feel best. They deserve all.

Smartphone addiction- ways to detoxify yourself!

“Smartphone is the most dangerous epidemic human race will face in future”

-randomwriting

Nomophobia- fear of living without smartphone. Years ago world was fascinated with landline phones (wired phones) and it used to be a matter of proud to have a landline phone at home. Then time changed with the arrival of mobile phones, initially with just phone and text features. The market was captured by Nokia and Motorola and slowly they started features like games. Then came coloured phones and Symbian platform, making it possible to add applications and use internet on phones.

In 2000’s game completely changed with addition of Palmtops by O2 and then business smartphones (with QUERTY) by Blackberry. Then came apple and rise of other companies like Samsung, Redmi, LG, Huewei, etc etc and phones were changed to smartphones with RAM, graphic cards, high quality cameras and anything possible. One thing humans did not realise was that they were getting addicted, dependent and diseased by smartphones. Now the young generation and future generation (less than 10) are so addicted that their life is nothing outside smartphones.

No one knows the chronic effect of radiations and it will be only after years of studies that we will find out what all cancers or chronic diseases are caused by smartphones, leave alone psychiatric and psychological issues.

Below are some handy tips to get rid of smartphone addiction/ reduce their use-

  • Turn off all notifications, this will help reduce checking phones during all notifications.
  • Turn off screen time or any app to know screen time- this will help you to know daily usage and set a target.
  • Delete games and all unnecessary apps including social apps like facebook and twitter.
  • Try to turn on internet only when necessary.
  • Use wrist watch for time and avoid using phone for it. It leads you to check all apps every time u check time.
  • Try to use simple phone/ keypad phone with less features.
  • Turn off internet in night. Keep phone on silent when u sleep and use alarm clock for alarm.
  • Strict no smartphone policy when having food or during family time.

Do not use smartphone to play videos and games to divert your newborns/infants/kids when they are crying or eating- you are inadvertently making them addict at such a small age.

Please leave comments if you know better ways to get rid of this addiction.

NHS- soul of UK!

“save it before its too late”

National Health Service (NHS) is the best and most patient friendly health service in the world, only system which is still patient driven and not money driven like the health system in other countries.

If you live in UK, specially if you are British, you know what NHS means to you. If you are over 50, you are used to NHS, its services, its love and care and ofcourse, everything free. Anyone who lives in UK is privileged to receive world class medical care and that too, free of cost. There are many other countries like Canada, Spain, etc who run State run medical services but, no one is as good as NHS. NHS is the precursor, the heart, the epitome, the role model of state run medical services throughout the world. What makes NHS best is the love, ethics and passion by which NHS staff works, the way they treat all patients like their family and the way the work selflessly.

Patients are the core of NHS and every policy and planning of NHS is patient oriented with their safety at the top of pyramid. Patients are respected and their dignity is always maintained by NHS. There are always facilities for continuous feedback and further improving patient care on the basis of feedback.

Over years UK has seen economic slowdown as well as increase in elderly population and increase in overall population leading to rise in funding needs for NHS. This is making NHS going down slowly, struggling with slow rising lack of staff and facilities and this has made NHS one of the major issues in any elections in UK.

Below are some of the reasons according to me for slow downfall of NHS-

  • Increase in proportion of old age population.
  • Slowdown of economy.
  • Politicians using NHS as their election propaganda, actually not thinking what is best for it.
  • Recent generations and migrants not emotionally attached to NHS and not knowing the real value of world class free medical care, leading to wastage of facilities by them like not attending appointments and wasting a slot, attending A&E unnecessarily, etc.
  • Countries like USA putting pressure to have share in NHS and eventually make it private.

I would like to add a paragraph on racism as there is always an apprehension of racism in immigrants. I appreciate UK and NHS for their strict no tolerance policy about racism and they have all required policies and pathways to prevent and if happened then to report and act on them. NHS is largely supported by staff coming to work from different European and Asian countries and major of this is from India, Pakistan and China. I think NHS is largely free of racism, other than rare events which are then strictly dealt by NHS/ GMC. Migrants are always loved by NHS and also by general British population and they are regarded high for their hard work.

There is a need to save NHS, from the downfall, from politics and from misuse. Below are few things that i think anyone can do to save NHS:

  • Love NHS, know its importance and avoid misuse like unnecessary attendance or missing appointments without notification.
  • Politicians need to stop using NHS as agenda for elections as any damage to NHS is damage to each and every British, to the country and to its reputation.
  • Increase funding to NHS further as this is the most noble and best use of tax payer’s money.
  • Avoid any step towards the privatization of health system in UK.
  • Ease immigration rules for medical professionals like easy visa, reduced visa fee, end health surcharge, financial support for immigration and help to settle in UK.

I would like to end my article by saying that know the value of NHS before its too late, everyone need to play their part to avoid the downfall and eventually for upliftment of this exceptionally wonderful system called NHS.

House Arrest (Netflix)- Review

“Script-less, acting-less and worthless”

My rating 2/10

IMDb- 5.7/10

House arrest (2019) is a 1 hour and 41 minute long movie on Netflix, starring Ali Fazal and Barkha Singh. Ali Fazal and Barkha Singh last acted together in famous Netflix series ‘Mirzapur’ and were widely praised for their performance in it.

House arrest is based on “Hikikomori” which is a Japanese term meaning Isolated. It is used for younger people who confine themselves in houses, isolating from society and largely engaging with gadgets/ smartphones/ internet.

In House Arrest Ali Fazal is the guy with Hakikomori and remains inside the house for whole movie. Barkha Singh has played a journalist who visits Ali to interview him.

All story moves in house with very few other unnecessary characters. There is no script in the film. Film does not fit into comedy, action, romance, suspense thriller or any other genre. It is complete waste of time and none of the actors talent is used in this baseless movie.

It feels like in whole movie director wants us to wait for Ali and Barkha to fall for each other and have sex, and as it is done movie ends. There is nothing more to write as the movie has nothing.

Verdict- Dont watch

Dunrobin Castle

Dunrobin Castle is a castle far north in Scotland, in Glospie, 54 miles from Inverness. Built on a hight, on the coast of North sea, it is one of the oldest continuously inhebited castle of UK, dating back to 1300.

Dunrobin castle is the home to Earls/ Dukes of Sutherland and still a part of it is reserved for Sutherland family.

Best way to visit Dunrobin castle is by staying in Invrness and travellingto Castle in morning, which takes about 75 mins of drive.

Castle is full of old furniture, pictures and other household of royal family and is cery well kept on display.

Interior will not fail to mesmerise you with the facilities royal family enjoyed in their times. Do not forget to look outside the windows towards the North sea and you will be trapped in breath taking view of large garden leading to North sea. The garden is well maintained and is full of different plants and flowers.

Once you finish castle and garden, do not forget to visit the small museum on the left corner of garden. This is one of the best museum i have ever visited and i was amused by the displayed animals in it. The museum is full of heads of hunted animals during old times and “you name it” and the animal is there on wall- from mammals to reptiles to birds to fishes- everything.

i-phone photography

“Best mobile camera in market“

“Photography is more in the eyes of photographer than the lens of their camera”

randomwriting
iphone X click at River Ganga, Varanasi, India

Photography is like a trending hobby, everyone wants to be a photographer and everyone tries their luck in it. The skills and eyes of photographer are the most important tool for photography but, we cannot ignore importance of a camera.

To me, a good camera means something that is with you all the time, small, handy, easy to use, good for amateurs, easy settings, easy to edit your work, connected to internet and easy to share your work.

With all above qualities the only thing that comes in mind is a good smartphone camera. In todays market there are few to chose from- the best one including iphone, samsung, one-plus and huawei.

I feel the iphone is best among these and is most close to all the properties of a good camera.

Remember, some of the cheap end phones use different screen settings by which their photo looks better on their screen and this is just a trick to catch you. Once you transfer the pic to computer or to any other screen the reality comes out and you can clearly see the poor quality.

Now with iphone XI the things are even more improved with 3 rear cameras. The portrait mode of iphone is another thing to play with. Facebook supports converting iphone portrait to 3D pic.

Having a good editing app like “Snapspeed” just give u further edge in your photography.

This article is more for amateurs, newbies, random photographers so, i will not go into technical details. I will post some iphone pics down to show what iphone can do.
